Christmas has come early for one Medford resident
Lisa Christopher has a medical condition that requires the use of a scooter. On Wednesday Christopher was the recipient of a 1999 Dodge Marks 3 wheelchair modified van. It was donated anonymously by to Mobility Unlimited. The Grants Pass donor wanted the van to find a new home for someone in need.
"Very rarely is it where we actually have a vehicle to present to someone. That is a very rewarding experience," said Bethany Brown, Executive Director for Mobility Unlimited.
The vehicle Christopher and her husband own was problematic because her scooter needed to be taken apart to fit in it. Now it will be easier for Christopher to get out and about.
