HOW TO GET HELP

APPLYING FOR A MOBILITY TO EMPLOYMENT PROJECT

Mobility Unlimited is committed to making a difference in real time. Our procedures, therefore, are designed to work as quickly as possible. Although we will not be able to assist every individual who seeks our services, our guidelines for applying for a Mobility to Employment Project are meant to help us fully understand the needs presented to us.

Each situation will be considered in terms of the best use of Mobility Unlimited’s resources, keeping in mind that we are stewards of the funds that are contributed to us by donors.

Who is eligible? Individuals with physical disabilities, regardless of cause, who can demonstrate a need which will improve their ability to gain or maintain employment.

Application Guidelines

  1. At least 18 years old and be a resident of Oregon.
  2. Seeking the item to maintain or pursue viable employment.
  3. We request the applicant participate in Mobility Unlimited promotional activities.
  4. Provide impaired mobility documentation thru a physician detailing the limitation placed on the applicant as a result of the applicant’s disability.

Mobility Unlimited will review all Mobility to Employment Project requests and make any necessary inquiries in order to confirm the information that applicants have supplied to us. When Mobility Unlimited determines that the candidate’s situation and our ability to be of service are well matched, Mobility Unlimited will contact the applicant.
