  • FAQ's


    Applicant: “How is employment defined?”

    Mobility Unlimited: Employment is defined by being paid for work and is proved through the submission of a paystub or self-employment tax return.


    Applicant: “I’m not able to physically fill out your application. Can you do this for me?”

    Mobility Unlimited: Yes, call the Client Services Director at
    541-618-9468.


    Applicant: "If I submit an application, does that guarantee that I will receive funding?

    Mobility Unlimited: Submitting an application does not guarantee funding. Each situation will be considered in terms of the best use of Mobility Unlimited’s resources.


    Applicant: “How do I get started in the process?”

    Mobility Unlimited: Call the Client Services Director at 541-618-9468.


    Applicant: “What if you can’t help me? Will you point me in the right direction?”

    Mobility Unlimited: Yes, call the Mobility Unlimited hotline
    877- 516-0605 so we can refer you to other resources.


    Applicant: “I have a relative that is living with me for awhile that needs a wheelchair. May I get a wheelchair from you until she leaves?”

    Mobility Unlimited: No, we don't loan out wheelchairs. Call the Mobility Unlimited hotline 877-516-0605 to find out where you can get a wheelchair on a loaner program.


    Applicant: “I’m a student at the local Community College and I need to have certain equipment in my classroom so I may attend college. Do you install such equipment in the classroom?”

    Mobility Unlimited: No, we don’t install equipment in the classroom, however you may contact the Support Services Department at your college to make those alterations for you.


    Applicant: “I need a vehicle that has a ramp, so I may get to my employment. Can you buy a vehicle for me?”

    Mobility Unlimited: No, we don’t purchase vehicles. If the client meets our criteria, we install the necessary vehicle modifications that is needed for them to get to work.


    Applicant: “I need medical transportation to my doctor appointments. Do you offer this?”

    Mobility Unlimited: No, we don’t provide transportation. Call the Mobility Unlimited hotline 877- 516-0605 so we can refer you to other medical transportation services.
